North Korea’s Kim Song Nam Strengthens Ties with Vietnamese Counterpart

Kim Song Nam, director of the Workers’ Party’s international department, met with Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Central Organization Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Rodong Sinmun reported on the 28th, “Director Kim Song Nam emphasized that the two countries will continue to strengthen their friendly solidarity on the path towards the vigorous advancement of the socialist enterprise and will enhance mutual support and cooperation on the international stage.”

The Head, Truong Thi Mai, stated they will develop the bilateral relationship by promoting the comprehension between the two countries and advancing cooperation through the exchange in various fields.

The newspaper reported that members of the North Korean Workers’ Party delegation, the North Korean acting charge d’affaires to Vietnam, the Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting.

Before this, Director Kim Song Nam met with Le Hoai Trung, the Head of the Central Committee for Foreign Affairs at the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi.
