What are the favorite school supplies among young students in North Korea?

On the 28th, the Chosun Shinbo, a newspaper for Koreans in Japan, reported from Pyongyang about “School supplies bearing the Durumi brand” and introduced them as follows.

According to the newspaper, these supplies are products manufactured at the Pine Tree School Supplies Factory.

The newspaper reports that the factory, equipped with modern facilities, is actively adopting new ideas that contribute to product quality improvement, cost reduction, and product diversification while also focusing on initiatives to enhance the technical skills of its employees.

In particular, the factory’s female employees, mothers first and producers second, pour their hearts and souls into every piece of school supplies they create.

Moreover, they are reportedly combining their wisdom and passion to create cool and convenient supplies by going out to schools to find out what color and shape of school supplies students prefer.

The newspaper conveyed, “Various forms of rulers, crayons that suit children’s hearts, scissors, pencil sharpeners, ballpoint pens, and other various school supplies made by the factory workers here are becoming precious companions to young students.”
