Pointing out the United States and called for a solution to the situation.

Following Iran’s drone and missile attack on Israel, demonstrators gathered in front of the British Embassy in Tehran on the 14th, waving Iranian and Palestinian flags.

China has voiced its position that an “influential nation” should step in to prevent escalating tensions and halt the Israel-Palestine conflict in response to Iran’s airstrike on Israel.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website on the 14th, “China expresses deep concern about the current escalation of the situation,” and added, “We appeal to the relevant parties to maintain cool-headedness and self-control to avoid further escalation of tensions.”

The spokesperson said, “This escalation of the situation is the latest phenomenon in the ripple effect of the conflict in the Gaza Strip,” adding, “The urgent task is to substantially implement UN Security Council Resolution No. 2728 (passed on the 25th of last month to establish an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip).” He also emphasized, “The goal is to calm the conflict in Gaza quickly.”

He added, “China appeals to the international community, especially influential countries, to play a constructive role in protecting regional peace and stability.”
