North Korea is inducing the loyalty of the people by highlighting the command of the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the flood-stricken Amnok River area.

Following the previous day, the Rodong Sinmun reported residents’ admiration towards Kim Jong Un’s spirit of dedication to the people through an article titled “We Never Expected Our Leader to Come to Such a Harsh Place.”

The newspaper reiterated that Chairman Kim quickly deployed helicopters and military forces to the flood-affected areas, rescuing thousands of residents.

It added that the entire Northern Pyongyang province is fervently committed to entrusting its fate and future to Kim, who fearlessly faces any danger for the people. The province is determined to uphold his leadership with loyalty, actively utilizing the flood situation for propaganda.

Reports from the Rodong Sinmun intended to preemptively prevent public discontent due to inadequate relief efforts while there are significant casualties and property damage.
