North Korea has stayed silent regarding South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s declaration of emergency martial law.

By 7 a.m. Thursday, neither the state-run Rodong Sinmun newspaper nor the Korean Central News Agency had mentioned the matter.

Instead, Rodong Sinmun published a front-page article covering reactions to the party’s plenary meeting, but it did not report any news regarding Yoon’s declaration or lifting of martial law or the impeachment proceedings currently ongoing in Seoul.
