Vegetables produced at the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex in North Korea were supplied to Pyongyang residents to celebrate New Year’s Day.

Rodong Sinmun reported on Thursday, “Transport vehicles loaded with various fruits, vegetables, and functional greens, including cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, kale, Chinese cabbage, and fragrant herbs, have arrived at commercial service centers throughout the city as part of a vegetable transport operation.”

The article noted that newly established vegetable sales points and commercial service centers throughout Pyongyang were bustling as people received vegetables from the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex.
