North Korean leader Kim Jong Un marked the New Year 2025 by inviting exemplary workers and contributors to the headquarters of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee on Thursday to take commemorative photos.

The Rodong Sinmun reported on Friday that “General Secretary Kim Jong Un extended warm greetings to exemplary workers and contributors from various sectors who contributed to the transformative achievements of 2024 and highly praised their efforts.”

Kim stated, “With the presence of a great army of true patriots, the path ahead for the glorious Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which is advancing steadily and ushering in a new era of national rejuvenation, will always be paved with victories.”

The Rodong Sinmun reported, “Kim Jong Un shook hands with the troupe’s director and urged them to nurture even more individuals who will carry on the patriotic cause of the Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan).”
