A ceremony officially inaugurated a new food processing factory in South Hwanghae Province, North Korea.

North Korea’s state-run newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported that Park Yun Cheol, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Party Committee, and officials, workers, and factory employees from Gwail County attended the on-site completion ceremony.

According to the newspaper, the speaker at the ceremony praised the county’s workers, builders, and factory employees for ensuring high-quality construction while utilizing advanced methods. They also highlighted the achievement of automation, streamlined processes, sterilization, and dust-free environments in the production lines.

It further noted that the establishment of this comprehensive food processing factory in Gwail County, capable of mass-producing delicious and nutritious food products, represents another milestone in improving the material and technological foundation for enhancing the dietary lives of North Korean citizens.
