The first fatal accident involving a Tesla Cybertruck happened in the United States.

Recently, an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 Cybertrucks were operated on the roads, and crash reports started to surface.

Yesterday, the EV media outlet Electrek reported that the accident happened in Chambers County, Texas. According to the authorities, the Cybertruck lost control for unknown reasons, veered off the road, and crashed into concrete.

After the collision, the Cybertruck caught fire, and the driver passed away at the scene. The released images reveal a severely burnt vehicle.

The cause of the crash hasn’t been revealed, and police are investigating the incident. Tesla has not yet conducted separate crash tests on the Cybertruck.
