BTS Members All Enlisted: HYBE Staff Expresses Bitterness

tvreport Views

As the ‘world-class’ BTS members enlist in the military, fans worldwide are expressing their sadness. Even the staff at their agency, HYBE, are feeling the emptiness.

On the 19th, a HYBE staff member A posted a photo of a whiteboard with the word “empty” written on it on a social networking service.

The whiteboard appeared to have been used by the BTS members. One fan explained that it was the whiteboard where BTS leader RM’s workout routine was written.

BTS began their military service with the eldest member, Jin, enlisting in December of last year, followed by J-Hope in April. Suga has been serving as a social service agent since September.

On the 11th, RM and V entered the Nonsan Training Center, followed by Jimin and Jungkook entering the 5th Infantry Division’s new soldier training unit in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 12th. With all the members serving in the military, fans will unfortunately not be able to see BTS’s full activities or individual activities for about seven months.

However, after about seven months, in June of next year, Jin will be the first to complete his military service, bringing joy to the waiting fans. Then, in October, J-Hope will be the second member of BTS to complete his military duty. In 2024, fans can expect to see Jin and J-Hope resuming their activities as BTS members.

In June 2025, starting with RM and V, followed by Jimin, Jungkook, and finally Suga, who will have completed his duty as a social service agent after two years and two months, will be discharged from the military. Many are eagerly awaiting the day when BTS, who have completed their military service, will return to the stage in full force.
