The value created by BTS’ V is attracting the attention of netizens.

Recently, Lefty, an influencer marketing platform based in France, drew attention by revealing the earned media value (EMV) that V had created as a Celine ambassador.

Lefty analyzed 31 posts on V’s Instagram feed and story and announced that he “created a value of $274 million (366.3 billion won) in just a few months”.

Earned Media Value (EMV) is a figure that converts the influence of social media content into cost.

Lefty, which announces the most influential celebs in the global fashion industry every year, named V and Kim Kardashian as the top male and female celebs last year.

V seems to have significantly boosted the brand’s value after being appointed Celine ambassador last year.

A British brand consulting firm reported that “Celine recorded a 51% growth rate after appointing V as its ambassador”.

V has recorded the most searches among Korean stars on Google Trends, Wikipedia, etc., and has been named the most searched K-pop idol for seven years since 2016.

Given that many foreign media outlets continue mentioning V, its global influence seems tremendous.

Meanwhile, V enlisted in the military last December and recently completed five weeks of basic training. He was selected as an elite trainee and assigned to his unit.
