BTS’s Jung Kook has broken his record on the U.S. Billboard charts

According to the latest chart (as of February 3) released by the U.S. music specialist medium Billboard on the 30th (Korean time), Jung Kook’s solo album Golden ranked 58th on the main Billboard 200 chart. As a result, this album has stayed on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks, breaking its record for the longest time on the Billboard 200 chart for a K-pop solo artist’s album.

The title track, “Standing Next to You,” ranked 85th, up two steps from the previous week on the main song chart ‘Hot 100’, and like the album, it has been on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks.

BTS also performed well. Their first regular album, Dark & Wild, made its first entry at 27th on the Top Album Sales, and their second mini-album, Skool Luv Affair, re-entered at 39th. Both albums re-entered the World Album on the 10th and 14th, respectively. On the World Digital Song Sales, Dark & Wild‘s title track “Danger” ranked first, and Skool Luv Affair‘s track “Just One Day” ranked sixth. The anthology album Proof ranked fourth on the World Album.

Jung Kook and Jimin continue their success on the Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.). On the Global 200, Jung Kook’s “Standing Next to You” (22nd), solo single “Seven” (26th), another solo single “3D” (79th), and Jimin’s first solo album Face‘s title track “Like Crazy” (127th) were included. On the Global (excluding the U.S.), “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “3D”, and “Like Crazy” was ranked 17th, 19th, 51st, and 92nd, respectively.
