Fans Startled by Released Scenes from Squid Game 2

The first still from the highly anticipated “Squid Game” Season 2, which had captivated audiences worldwide, has been unveiled for the first time.

The release still captures the intense appearances of the characters “Gi Hun” (Lee Jung Jae), “Front Man” (Lee Byung Hun), and “Ddakji Guy” (Gong Yoo), who have been immensely loved since Season 1. Additionally, attention has been drawn to the character of Park Gyu Young, who will make her first appearance in the new season.

“Squid Game” is a Netflix series about individuals participating in a mysterious survival game for a prize of 45.6 billion won (around $34.2 million), risking their lives to become the ultimate winner.

Season 2 begins with “Gi Hun” (Lee Jung-jae), who gave up going to America, returning with his own purpose in mind.

“Squid Game” Season 2 is directed, written, and produced once again by Hwang Dong Hyuk, who made history by becoming the first Asian to win the Director’s Award at the 74th Primetime Emmy® Awards.

In addition to Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Jun, and Gong Yoo from Season 1, the series has also added a robust cast, including Im Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Gyu Young, Lee Jin Wook, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Shim, Lee Da Wit, Choi Seung Hyun, No Jae Won, Jo Yu Ri, and Won Ji An. The arrival of new and diverse characters played by these actors has heightened anticipation among viewers worldwide.

Meanwhile, “Squid Game” Season 2 is slated to be released on Netflix in 2024.
