BTS’ third full album unexpectedly re-entered the Billboard 200 chart.
The group’s 2018 album, “LOVE YOURSELF: Tear”, made a surprising reappearance on the Billboard 200 chart this week, landing at #92 after 5 and half years since its initial release. The album, which stayed on the chart for 15 consecutive weeks upon its debut, is experiencing a renewed surge in popularity. Additionally, “LOVE YOURSELF: Tear” ranked #3 and #5 on the latest World Album and Top Album Sales charts, respectively. The album’s title track, “FAKE LOVE,” also reclaimed the top spot on the World Digital Single Sales chart.
It is presumed that the recent release of BTS’ “LOVE YOURSELF: Tear” vinyl across various regions, which culminated in shipments at the end of February, was likely reflected in the album’s Billboard achievements this week, debuting at #1 on the Vinyl Albums chart.
BTS’ Jungkook proved his impact with his debut album “GOLDEN” and its title track “Standing Next to You” charting on Billboard for an impressive 17 consecutive weeks. This marks a personal record for Jungkook on the prestigious Hot 100 chart, where “Standing Next to You” landed at #87. Previously, he spent 17 weeks on the Hot 100 with his 2022 collaboration with Charlie Puth, “Left and Right.”
Jungkook’s solo singles “Seven (feat. Latto)” placed #29, “Standing Next to You” at #35, “#3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” at #123, and Jimin’s title track “Like Crazy” from his first solo album “FACE” ranked #151 on the Global 200 chart.
On the Global (excluding U.S.) chart, “Seven” ranked #21, “Standing Next to You” ranked #29, “3D” was #77, and “Like Crazy” was #111.
