TWICE Achieves Career-High with 4 Billboard Chart Toppers

joynews24 Views

TWICE dominates the charts, including topping the US Billboard 200.

According to Billboard’s official website, TWICE’s new mini album, “With YOU-th”, topped the prestigious Billboard 200 chart on March 5th. This momentous achievement extends beyond just the top spot, as TWICE also secured the #1 spot on three other Billboard charts: Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and World Albums.

Their dominance doesn’t stop there. TWICE remarkably landed in 15 different Billboard charts, including a strong second place in the Artist 100 and third place finishes in both Vinyl Albums and World Digital Song Sales with their title track “ONE SPARK” from the same album.

TWICE cemented their position as the “global top girl group” with their powerful comeback “With YOU-th,” their first release of 2024. The album shattered records, becoming a million seller by surpassing 1.063 million sales within the first week (according to Hanteo Chart). This achievement further strengthens their reign as the K-pop girl group with the most entries on the Billboard 200 chart.

Starting with the group’s 9th mini album “MORE & MORE” in June 2020, they’ve continuously landed on this chart with subsequent releases, including “Eyes Wide Open”, “Taste of Love”, “Formula of Love: O+T=<3”, “BETWEEN 1&2”, “Ready To Be”, and now “With YOU-th”.

Moreover, they made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group to top the Billboard 200 with a non-English album in 2024, signifying their global impact and influence.

TWICE’s success extends beyond the group itself. Solo efforts from Nayeon and Jihyo with their mini-albums “IM NAYEON” and “ZONE” also landed on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart.

Additionally, their previous album “Ready To Be” peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 in March 2023, setting a record for the highest sales ever for a K-pop girl group on the chart with 153,000 combined album and streaming sales. These consistent achievements solidify TWICE’s position as a global force, earning them the unwavering support of fans domestically and internationally.

TWICE’s “READY TO BE” world tour, encompassing 49 shows across 27 regions, will culminate in three major stadium concerts: Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on March 16, Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka in July, and a history-making performance at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, where TWICE will become the first foreign female artist to headline the venue.
