Disney+ builds on the momentum of its pop culture documentaries by showcasing a major artist in its upcoming release this year. Following features on BTS, NCT 127, and Super Junior, this new project offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concert.

Disney+ hosted its 2024 Content Lineup Media Day at the JW Marriott in Seoul on March 12th.

At the recent event, Disney+ executives unveiled their original content slate for 2024. Carol Choi, Head of Original Content Strategy for Asia-Pacific, and Kim So Yeon, representing Walt Disney Company Korea, presented the upcoming shows and movies. Additionally, they shared projections for this year’s performance, building on the success of 2023.

The inclusion of releasing the “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” movie alongside major K-content productions stood out as a strategic move.

“Fans crave a glimpse behind the curtain,” explained Choi. “Documentaries showcasing the off-stage lives and dedication of global music icons like BTS and Taylor Swift resonate with their massive fanbases. We’re confident this Taylor Swift project will be a hit.”
