BTS’s V Hits the Hot 100 Again with ‘FRI(END)S’—A Solo Success Story

BTS’s V has added another track to the US Billboard’s main singles chart, Hot 100.

On the 26th (local time), according to the latest chart (dated March 30th) announced by the American music specialist media Billboard, V’s digital single “FRI(END)S” entered the Hot 100 at 65th place. With this, V now has a total of four tracks that have entered the Hot 100, following the SBS drama Our Beloved Summer OST “Christmas Tree” (79th), the pre-release track “Love Me Again” (96th) from his first solo album Layover, and its title track “Slow Dancing” (51st) along with “FRI(END)S.”

“FRI(END)S” also entered several other charts in high positions, including Digital Song Sales (2nd), Global Excl. US (3rd), and Global 200 (5th). “Love Me Again” made a surprising re-entry to Global Excl—US at 178th.

Jungkook’s solo album GOLDEN has charted in the main album chart Billboard 200 at 113th for 20 consecutive weeks. GOLDEN continues to renew the longest Billboard 200 charting record for a Korean solo artist’s album every week, maintaining its popularity.

Meanwhile, solo songs by Jimin and Jungkook have charted in Global 200 and Global Excl—the US. Jungkook’s solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” (42nd), the title track “Standing Next to You” from GOLDEN (51st), “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” (146th), and Jimin’s first solo album FACE title track “Like Crazy” (115th) have made it to the Global 200, in Global Excl. The US, “Seven” (22nd), “Standing Next to You” (35th), “Like Crazy” (98th), and “3D” (101st) are positioned.
