“Parasyte: The Grey,” which premiered on the 5th, is a Netflix series that tells the story of a special team, The Gray, trying to stop parasitic organisms that seek to expand their power by using humans as hosts. Among them, it focuses on the story of a human named ‘Soo-in’ (played by Jeon So-ni) who coexists with a parasite. The cast includes Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, and Kim In Kwon.

“Parasyte: The Grey” is based on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s comic “Parasyte,” which sold over 25 million copies in 30 regions and countries. Using its unique imagination of parasites controlling human brains and philosophical messages, it has successfully expanded its world set in South Korea.

While opinions among original fans may be divided, it is receiving positive reviews for its popular appeal. As a result, “Parasyte: The Grey” started its box office run by immediately rising to number one on Netflix globally.
