Met Gala 2024: Jennie’s Fashion Moment Steals the Spotlight in Radiant Blue

Daniel Kim Views

BLACKPINK’s Jennie captivated the Met Gala with her refreshing blue dress.

Jennie attended the 2024 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 6.

The Met Gala is a charity fundraising event co-hosted annually by American Vogue and the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, taking place on the first Monday of May each year.

This year, it was held under the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The dress code was “Garden of Time,” hinting at past and present looks and abundant plants and flowers on the red carpet.

Jennie accentuated a cool vibe with a cobalt blue dress and shoes. She added a point to her outfit with a pearl chain belt on a cut-out dress that emphasized her waistline and flaunted her slim figure with a short dress with a slit on one side.

She showcased her chic charm with a sleek back hairstyle and cat-eye makeup highlighted by subtle silver eyeshadow.

Previously, Jennie attended the Met Gala in honor of the late Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s creative director, where she flaunted her elegant beauty in a vintage Chanel dress.

Jennie has been active in the media, recently appearing in tvN’s entertainment show Apartment 404 and featuring in Zico’s new song, “SPOT!”
