From K-Pop to Global Pop: NewJeans’ Latest Hits Make Waves Worldwide

NewJeans’ How Sweet has made a splash on the major U.S. Billboard charts.

NewJeans secured #12 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 with their double single How Sweet according to the latest U.S. Billboard chart. The Bubbling Under Hot 100 ranks the 25 songs that did not make it onto Billboard’s main Hot 100 chart.

“How Sweet” and the track “Bubble Gum” landed in the top tier in the global charts which target over 200 regions worldwide. “How Sweet” was #7 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and #15 on the Global 200 chart, while “Bubble Gum” placed #18 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and #30 on the Global 200.

Additionally, “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” reached #4 and #6 respectively on the World Digital Song Sales, making it to the Top 10.

NewJeans will host an offline pop-up store at Line Friends Square in Gangnam’s Sinsa-dong on June 5-17 to celebrate the release of How Sweet. This pop-up, in partnership with their official merchandise business partner IPX (formerly Line Friends), is garnering anticipation with its unique vintage record shop concept and a variety of official merchandise that will surely stimulate collectors’ desires.

After releasing their Japanese debut single “Supernatural” on June 21, NewJeans will hold a fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from June 26-27.
