BLACKPINK’s Jennie Takes Top Spot in Worldwide All-Rounder Idol Vote!

Daniel Kim Views

In a recent poll, BLACKPINK’s Jennie was chosen as the “Best All-Rounder” idol.

Jennie topped the “Best All-Rounder Idol” poll on the global fandom platform UPICK from May 24 to June 3, garnering 11,048,657 votes worldwide. Following Jennie, TWICE’s Nayeon and ENHYPEN’s Heeseung ranked second and third respectively.

As a global artist representing K-pop, Jennie has built a strong position through her activities with BLACKPINK and as a solo artist. She dominated global charts with her single “You & Me” last year, and her recent feature on Zico’s new song “SPOT!” also topped both Korean and international charts, proving how powerful Jennie’s presence is. Jennie is considered a representative all-rounder artist, a multifaceted idol who excels in music, entertainment, fashion, and other fields. Jennie surprised everyone with her unexpected variety show skills in SBS‘s Village Survival, the Eight in 2019 and recently showcased her unique charm in tvN‘s Apartment 404. She currently serves as a global ambassador for various brands.

For one month, Jennie, who came in first in the “Best All-Rounder Idol” poll, will be showcased on an advertisement billboard in the subway.

UPICK is currently conducting votes for “Pick of the Month,” “K-pop Global Idol,” and “Best Position Awards.” The artist who ultimately ranks first in the “Best Position Awards” will have advertisements run in four Asian countries, attracting significant interest from global fans.
