Stray Kids ‘Back Door’ Hits Gold in the USA!

Stray Kids’ “Back Door” has earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

According to an announcement made on the official RIAA website on the 13th, Stray Kids’ title track “Back Door” from their first repackage album In Life released on September 14, 2020, has officially achieved a gold certification. The RIAA grants certifications based on sales of singles and albums in the United States, categorizing them as gold (over 500,000), platinum (over 1 million), multi-platinum (over 2 million), and diamond (over 10 million).

With this achievement, Stray Kids have now received a total of five RIAA gold certifications, including the singles “God’s Menu,” “MANIAC,” “Back Door,” and the albums 5-STAR and ROCK-STAR.

“Back Door” was written and composed by the group’s producing team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, and received a great response from fans around the world with music and performances that highlight Stray Kids’ free energy.

On the 6th, Stray Kids achieved their second gold certification from the French Record Association (SNEP) with their mini album ROCK-STAR, following their third full-length album 5-STAR.

Stray Kids, who have been shining as a global sensation on the global stage, continue their momentum this summer. They will be headlining three major music festivals: I-Days in Milan, Italy on July 12, BST Hyde Park in London, England on July 14, and Lollapalooza Chicago in Chicago, USA on August 2. Expectations that they will further expand their worldwide presence are high.
