BTS’ Jimin Announces New Solo Album ‘MUSE’ – Here’s What We Know

Daniel Kim Views

BTS’ Jimin hints at a broad musical spectrum that will unfold after his military hiatus and a new album after a year and four months.

On June 18, Big Hit Music announced through the fan platform Weverse and BTS’s official social media platforms that Jimin’s new solo album MUSE will be released on July 19 at 1 PM KST.

The announcement of Jimin’s new album comes about a year and four months after his first solo album, FACE, was released last March. Jimin’s latest album contains seven songs, including the fan song “Closer Than This.” It captures his musical ambitions and future visions in various tones, which he dreamed of until his military enlistment last December.

“You can confirm Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum through this new album. We ask for much love and support for ‘MUSE,'” his agency shared. BTS is set to release its special album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: YOUNG FOREVER, on May 2, 2025, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their HYYH. This release will accompany various activities, including Jin’s return from military service, Jungkook’s release of the fan song “Never Let Go,” and the successful wrap-up of the 2024 FESTA.
