Taylor Swift has become the wealthiest female musician in the world.

Newsis

As Taylor Swift’s popularity continues to soar, Forbes reported that Swift became the wealthiest female musician, with a net worth estimated at $1.6 billion as of Monday, surpassing Rihanna’s $1.4 billion.

Analysts found that Swift’s wealth consists of $600 million from royalties and touring, $600 million worth of music assets and $125 million in real estate.

Swift also ranks second among all musicians, with rapper and business mogul Jay-Z, who is married to Beyoncé, holding the top spot with $2.5 billion.

Swift joined the billionaire ranks last October, thanks to the success of The Eras Tour, which began last year. Forbes acknowledged her as the first musician to achieve billionaire status primarily through singing and performing.

In addition to her record-breaking financial achievements, Swift has recently emerged as a political force. Last month, she made headlines by publicly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in this year’s U.S. presidential race, a move seen as a significant moment in the political landscape as Harris challenges former President Donald Trump.
