BTS’s Jin is gearing up for a global splash with his debut solo album, Happy. The K-pop superstar will take the stage on NBC’s popular late-night program, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, on November 21. Jin is set to perform “Running Wild,” the title track from his highly anticipated album.

The Tonight Show officially confirmed Jin’s appearance with a teaser video released on their social media channels Wednesday. The clip, which plays on a nostalgic ’90s office vibe, shows host Jimmy Fallon discovering a mysterious Top Secret envelope on his desk. Inside, he finds a floppy disk labeled Special Guest. Fallon inserts the disk into his computer, and as the opening chords of Jin’s new track, “Running Wild,” begin to play, the video ends with Fallon’s surprised reaction upon learning that Jin is the special guest.

This won’t be BTS’s first appearance on The Tonight Show. In July 2021, the group wowed audiences with high-energy performances of their global hits “Butter” and “Permission to Dance.” Since then, fellow BTS members Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook have each made solo appearances, showing off their unique chemistry with Fallon. As Jin prepares to make his solo debut, fans and critics are buzzing with excitement for his interview and his performance on the iconic late-night stage.

Mark your calendars: Jin’s solo album Happy drops worldwide this Friday. The album is a deeply personal exploration of the artist’s reflections on happiness, with Jin hoping to spread positivity and joy through his music. The album features six diverse tracks, each anchored by band-driven sounds. In addition to the title track “Running Wild,” the album includes songs like “I’ll Be There,” “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window,” and “I Will Come to You.”
