Trump’s Rising Popularity in the U.S. – Beating Biden in Quantum Showdown

Ahead of the 2024 U.S. election, the approval rating for former President Donald Trump is increasing. In a hypothetical head-to-head, he surpasses current President Joe Biden.

According to a poll conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post (WP) on the 24th (local time), former President Trump is significantly ahead in a hypothetical head-to-head against President Biden.

Former President Trump had 51%, while President Biden had 42%.

This is a significant increase in favorability for former President Trump, compared to a tie at 39% each in a hypothetical head-to-head conducted on the 15th.

Additionally, 74% of respondents in this poll said that President Biden is too old to serve another term. This is an increase from 68% in the same survey conducted last May.

The response that former President Trump is too old to serve as president was lower at 50% compared to President Biden.

44% of respondents said they were financially worse off during President Biden’s term.

Only 37% of respondents supported President Biden’s job performance, while 56% did not. The approval rating for President Biden’s economic achievements was only 30%.

The overall evaluation of former President Trump is improving.

48% of respondents acknowledged the achievements during President Trump’s tenure. The approval rating for former President Trump was only 38% when he left office in January 2021.
