Director Lee Chung-hyun’s new film, Ballerina, has claimed the top spot in Netflix’s non-English film category.

According to Netflix’s official site, Netflix Top 10, on the 18th, Ballerina recorded a viewership of 14.7 million views between the 9th and 15th of the month, ranking it at the top of the non-English film category. The viewership is calculated by dividing the total viewing time by the film’s running time.

The film tells the story of Ok-ju (played by Jeon Jong-seo), who tracks down the perpetrator to avenge her friend, who was a victim of digital sexual crime. The film is known for its spectacular action and an apparent good versus evil storyline.

Since its release on the 6th, it has continued its popularity, ranking in the top 10 in 62 countries, including South Korea, in just three days.

On the 18th, it recorded the Top 10 in 89 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan.
