tvN’s You Quiz on the Block featuring JYP CCO (Chief Creative Officer) Park Jin Young and HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk has been gathering hot topics day by day. Amid this, their first behind-the-scenes stories have been released, capturing attention.

At the recording site that day, there was a rare meeting of two K-POP giants, leading to non-stop conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

The story about the sock controversy that Park Jin-Young had previously revealed about his relationship with Bang Si Hyuk on a variety show was released for the first time. Apart from this, there were endless episodes.

After the recording, Bang Si Hyuk shared a picture of the two, which led to explosive reactions from netizens, such as “They look like a couple from a past life, it’s heartwarming,” and “It’s a thrilling combination that boosts dopamine.”

Especially as both are influential K-POP producers and entrepreneurs who have established entertainment companies, they candidly shared their thoughts on the past, present, and future of K-POP.

Park Jin Young said, “The K-POP market has a very high entry barrier. Our task is to find the next stage.”

Bang Si-Hyuk stated, “We need to think about 10 years from now, not tomorrow, so I think the current K-POP market is in a crisis. To make K-POP sustainable, we need scalability.”

The global girl group audition project The Debut: Dream Academy, currently underway at HYBE, is said to be an extension of this idea.

The idea is that K-POP will no longer be limited to a specific region. It will increase scalability by discovering localized artists worldwide using the K-POP planning method and system.

Park Jin Young also selected the global girl group VCHA through the A2K project, a joint venture with a US local label, and they are currently preparing for their official debut.

The fact that both have the same concerns and are planning for the current and future K-POP market is attracting attention.

The ‘You Quiz’ production team added, “We ask for a lot of anticipation as not only interesting stories that anyone interested in K-POP and K-POP artists would find fascinating, but also untold memories of the two people who have been together for a long time will be revealed.”

Meanwhile, the tvN’s You Quiz on the Block featuring Park Jin Young and Bang Si Hyuk will air in November.
