BTS member Jimin has completed his basic military training as the top recruit.

Jimin’s father posted on the official channel of his online forum on the 18th, saying, “He has finished the long and short 5-week completion ceremony,” along with a photo of Jimin.

BTS’s Jimin is having a photo time at the Lady Dior Celebration exhibition held at a concept store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 1st.

Jimin completed a 5-week basic military training at the 5th Division New Soldier Training Team in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 17th. On this day, Jimin was awarded as the top recruit for ranking first among the recruits. He is the fourth member of BTS to become the top recruit. The eldest Jin, who enlisted in 2022, and RM and V, who completed their training on the 16th, have also received the top recruit commendation.

Jimin’s father conveyed, “The time of one year and five months can be long or short. After enjoying the four seasons, he will be back in no time. The ARMY has been a great strength. I sincerely thank you,” thanking the fans for their continuous support, interest, and love.

Previously, Jimin also sent greetings to fans through a handwritten letter on the fan community platform Weverse. Jimin said, “Sometimes it feels long (military life), and sometimes it goes by quickly because Jung Kook is next to me. I keep in touch with the members through public phones, and Jung Kook is also training hard in the military.”

Jimin added, “Everyone says ‘As expected, Jung Kook’ because he is doing well in training. I’m getting a lot of willpower and strength from being together. I’ll be going to the unit soon and will try to adapt and get along well there. ARMY, be careful not to catch a cold, and don’t get sick.”

Jimin enlisted with Jung Kook and continued his military life assigned to the 5th Division.
