In January, attention was drawn when dating photos of a famous soccer player and a celebrity from a girl group were released.

The couple in question are Lee Kang In, who is currently enjoying great popularity and playing as a national representative, and Lee Nae Eun, a former member of the girl group April.

Moreover, the dating rumors of Seol Young Woo, who is also part of the national team, and another member of April, Yang Yena, became a hot topic. According to a media outlet, both couples have already broken up.

Not long after the dating rumors broke out, Lee Kang In was recently embroiled in a shocking misconduct controversy towards Son Heung-min the night before the Asian Cup Jordan match, according to The Sun.

As Lee Kang In, a soccer player who has received nationwide love, is embroiled in negative news, the criticism continues, and his past is being highlighted again.

The fact of dating was revealed after the breakup

On January 2, a media outlet reported on the dating rumors of soccer player Lee Kang In. The media revealed that Lee Kang In visited his home several times in November, riding the car of a woman presumed to be his girlfriend.

The woman turned out to be Lee Na Eun, a former member of the April girl group who was two years older and had been in the spotlight for her beauty. In response to the sudden dating rumors, Lee Kang In remained silent, and Lee Na Eun denied it, saying they were just friends.

Afterward, the love stories of Seol Young Woo, a national team member, and Yang Yena, another member of April, spread one after another and became a big topic.

Seol Young Woo had a so-called “couple item” that he bought while dating, and the fact that he engraved “YENA” in English on his sneakers was recalled, fueling the dating rumors.

However, a few days later, according to a reporter, Lee Kang In and Lee Na Eun, Seol Young Woo and Yang Yena had already broken up, and it was revealed that the fact of dating was known after the breakup, and there were rumors that they had been embarrassed.

Lee Kang In, rumors of discord with Son Heung Min

On Thursday, a foreign press reported a fight between the Korean national soccer team captain, Son Heung Min, and his junior team members.

Son Heung Min broke his finger during a fight with a team member during dinner the night before the Asian Cup elimination.

The juniors were identified as Lee Kang In and Seol Young Woo. Subsequently, Lee Kang In also posted an apology on his social media.

However, the indiscriminate spread of discord rumors continued, to the point of spreading that “Lee Kang In hit Son Heung Min in the face.”

On the morning of the 15th, Lee Kang In’s side conveyed through a legal representative that “the content of the article is different from the truth.” It stated that “we will clarify our position on the remaining content” and “we sincerely apologize to everyone disappointed in Lee Kang In again.”

Re-highlighting of Lee Kang In’s past controversy

Lee Kang In has been mentioned before about his personality towards other players, causing controversy.

In the past, soccer player Cho Young Wook said in a U-20 interview, “Kang In sometimes crosses the line. Because of the different cultures, sometimes his jokes are too much, but I hope he can keep the lines.”

In addition, player Eom Won Sang said in an interview about Lee Kang In, “I was just eating in peace, and I remember being very embarrassed when Lee Kang In suddenly cursed. It’s not normal”.

Criticism is growing with the re-highlighting of Lee Kang In’s past character. We hope that the truth will be revealed as soon as possible and the discord rumors of the national team will be resolved well.
