Elon Musk is set to launch the upgraded Grok-1.5.

Elon Musk revealed in a post on his social media on the 29th (local time) that the latest Grok-1.5 chatbot from AI startup xAI will be available on X next week.

Grok-1.5, the enhanced version of Grok, will be available on X for early testers and existing Grok users.

Musk stated, “Grok 2 should surpass the current AI in all metrics and is currently in training.”

Earlier this month, Musk announced that xAI would open-source Grok, just days after he filed a lawsuit accusing OpenAI, sponsored by Microsoft, of abandoning its original mission in favor of for-profit models.

To compete with OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google, Musk launched xAI last year.
