South Korean Man Posts Listing to Find a Female Companion for a ‘Cherry Blossom Date’

“I want to eat out with a woman on a day when the cherry blossoms are in bloom at least once in my life”

A post seeking a woman to enjoy the cherry blossom season with is catching attention.

Recently, a post titled “Looking for a Day Part-Timer (Female) for a Cherry Blossom Date” was posted on the anonymous office worker community Blind.

The author introduced himself as a 35-year-old man who is about 5’5” and weighs around 132 Ibs. He explained the reason for his post: “I want to eat out with a woman on a day when the cherry blossoms are in bloom at least once in my life and to gain experience for a successful date with a potential partner in the future.”

He then outlined, “I’m looking for a female part-timer to have a cherry blossom date with me by the Han River and in the Yeouido area in Seoul for one day between April 6 and 7.”

The man offered a daily wage of about $141, with a deposit of $44 and $97 to be paid later. The job entails an 8-hour commitment of $18 per hour, including pickup. Additionally, he will provide up to two meals, including dessert.

As for other details, he clarified that there would be no physical contact, though holding hands briefly might be necessary in crowded situations.

The man explained the qualifications of the woman he was seeking. Specifically, she should be a single woman aged 20 to 39, residing in Seoul or the metropolitan area, and capable of preparing a rough date course and plan.

He emphasized, “I’m not joking. I’m very serious. Any woman interested in this position can draft a detailed contract through conversation. Legal action can be taken against the other party in case of breach of the contract. It will be on a first-come-first-served basis.”
