New Leadership Takes Helm at JP Morgan Chase China

The head of JP Morgan Chase’s China branch has been replaced after ten years.

According to a statement from JP Morgan Chase on the 23rd (local time), Lu Fang has been appointed as the chairman of the investment banking division in China.

In addition, Greg Yu, who was the vice president of JP Morgan Securities China Company (JPMSC), has been promoted to general manager. Both appointments took effect immediately after regulatory reporting.

The bank announced that Lu would replace Park Pu, who had been the chairman of the China business division for almost 10 years, and Pu would take on a new role as a senior advisor in the China business division.

Lu will be responsible for the company’s overall management and will oversee regional governance and the bank’s strategic agenda.

JP Morgan’s China branch performs various banking operations, including investment banking and securities brokerage.
