Han Dong Hoon, leader of the People Power Party, held an urgent press conference at the National Assembly on Thursday. During the briefing, he stated, “I have confirmed that President Yoon Suk Yeol has no intention of stepping down early,” and voiced his support for impeachment.

Han emphasized, “Since the President has shown no willingness to relinquish his role as commander-in-chief or step down from governing the nation, we must immediately suspend cabinet operations.” He added, “This step is essential to prevent further chaos.”

Addressing the second impeachment vote scheduled for this Saturday, Han called for freedom in decision-making among party members. “In the upcoming vote, our party members should attend the session and cast their votes according to their conscience and beliefs,” he said.
