The single, titled “Gogae” (Korean for “hill”), features a melodic blend of piano and strings. In this touching composition, Wonwoo expresses his gratitude to fans, vowing to cherish their shared memories of overcoming obstacles together and embracing future challenges with optimism. The song’s message is beautifully illustrated in the accompanying animated music video, which depicts a cat’s journey over a hill alongside a serendipitously encountered butterfly.

Currently, the K-pop idol is fulfilling his mandatory military service as a social service agent. Last week, Wonwoo delighted fans by sharing a snapshot on a fandom communication platform, capturing a moment from his visit to an arboretum with fellow artists I.M of Monsta X and Woodz. Eagle-eyed fans also spotted him attending a concert featuring Seventeen’s subunit, Hoshi and Woozi, showcasing his continued support for his bandmates despite his military commitments.
