The Hong Kong superstar is set to take the stage at Inspire Arena on Sept. 13, making his long-awaited South Korean debut after more than four decades of international acclaim. Fans can secure their spots starting July 22 via Nol Interpark Ticket, with additional tickets available through Damai.cn on July 23.

Cheung, 63, skyrocketed to fame after clinching victory at the 18th District Amateur Singing Festival in Hong Kong back in 1984. His debut album “Smile,” released the following year, kickstarted a stellar career that would see 14 of his albums go platinum, as certified by the Hong Kong International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Dubbed one of Hong Kong’s “Four Heavenly Kings,” Cheung’s influence has transcended both generations and borders, with iconic hits like 1993’s “Goodbye Kiss” cementing his legendary status.

In a testament to his massive popularity, Cheung even nabbed a Guinness World Record in 2012 for the largest concert attendance over a 12-month period, drawing an astounding 2.04 million fans.

The Seoul concert is a highlight of Cheung’s ambitious 10th world tour, which kicked off in 2023 and is slated to continue through 2026. The tour has already seen packed houses across Asia, with sold-out shows in Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

Audiences at the Seoul show can expect a visual and auditory spectacle, featuring a 53-piece symphony orchestra and a 20-member ballet troupe. The performance promises to blend grand classical aesthetics with cabaret-style staging, complete with retro set designs and vintage cars. Cheung’s show theme, “flowing forward with flexibility like water,” offers a glimpse into the artist’s reflective approach to life and performance as he enters his seventh decade.

For concertgoers’ convenience, Inspire will offer direct shuttle services connecting the resort, Incheon Airport, and key areas of Seoul. On the day of the concert, a special shuttle will also run between AREX Cargo Terminal Station and the venue, ensuring fans can easily access this landmark performance.
