‘La Lanna’ is a Thailand pool villa that became viral on social media. Its unique design, featuring a bed that extends outside the room, has caught many eyes. The stylish exterior of the accommodation is equally impressive. ‘La Lanna,’ located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is located in the area about an hour’s drive from the city center.

This newly built pool villa is not yet well-known among Korean tourists, with few reviews available. The resort is located on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, making it not the most accessible location for tourists.

Although it may be unfamiliar to Korean tourists, it is quite popular among the locals.
Most locals visit by car, but renting a car in Thailand can be somewhat challenging so using public transportation or a taxi is recommended.

The most popular room at the resort is ‘River Flows In You.’ The room features a unique design where the bedroom extends outside. The room rate is about 400,000 KRW ($340) per night, which includes breakfast and afternoon tea.

The room can accommodate up to six people and features two bedrooms. There is a private swimming pool in front of the bedroom, making it a great place to swim at anytime.

Located in the forest, the resort exudes a nature-friendly atmosphere. ‘La Lanna,’ a newly built pool villa, attracts attention with its stirring interior as soon as you step into the room. Breakfast is served with local Thai food, and dinner can also be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant.

Although the room interior and facilities are excellent, it is a difficult place for tourists to reach. No particular amenities are nearby, so you have to spend your time in the accommodation. Guests have left reviews such as “A very beautiful pool villa, day and night,” “A resort with a great atmosphere in nature”, “All the staff were really friendly and I was happy throughout my stay,” and “The best accommodation, delicious food. Everything was satisfying.”

Thailand’s ‘Magic Mountain Camp’ is another accommodation that has become a hot topic on social media. Many people have shown interest due to the photos of the rooms boasting an incredibly open view.

Phayao is a city unfamiliar to Korean tourists. It is 691km (430 miles) away from Bangkok and is surrounded by mountains and valleys. In this area, the Doi Phu Nang National Park is located. It’s difficult to visit Phayao from Bangkok. It takes 10 hours and 30 minutes by bus from the northern terminal in Bangkok to Phayao.

Therefore, it’s not easy for Korean tourists to visit ‘Magic Mountain Camp.’

This place runs a cafe and an accommodation together. Located on a mountain, you can enjoy fantastic views from anywhere. The rooms are dome-shaped, and the room price is 180,000 KRW ($153) per night. The front of the room is transparent, so you can take in the outside view while lying on the bed.

The popular room at ‘Magic Mountain Camp’ is a room made up of two dome shapes, and the room price is 300,000 KRW ($255) per night. This room features a bathtub on the terrace, making it a great place to enjoy the outside view. This place is located far from the city center and is greatly affected by the weather.

During the rainy seasons, it can be dangerous. As the accommodation itself requires walking on a steep slope, caution is needed. Power outages often occur at the accommodation, but the hotel informs us that they cannot resolve the issue. During the rainy season, there are quite a lot of insects, mosquitoes, and various animals. Children under 18 are not allowed to stay.

While the scenery is beautiful, it’s a challenging place to visit unless you’re a local.
