In Sydney, Australia, you can take a journey on a train filled with techno music and sensory lighting.

According to media outlets like Time Out, Tekno Train is a signature program of the light festival Vivid Sydney 2024. It will operate from May 24th until June 15th.

Departing from Sydney Central Station and running through the city, this train features the techno genre soundtrack “Tekno Train,” composed by famous Australian musician Paul Mac. The train also lights up to the beat of the music, and the music and lighting inside the train will change according to the speed of the train and the outside scenery, enhancing the passengers’ experience.

John Graham, the Minister for Jobs and Tourism in New South Wales (NSW) expressed his anticipation, stating, “The Tekno Train will elevate the everyday experience of riding a train in the city into an enjoyable and unique experience.”

The Tekno Train operates three times a day for 60 minutes each time, and passengers can choose between two routes. According to Vivid Sydney, The Scenic Route is slower and suitable for families with young children, while the Tech Express is faster-paced and ideal for those seeking a more adrenalized experience.

Tickets for the Tekno Train are available now on Vivid Sydney’s official website.
