Switching from hot to lukewarm water when washing your hair can significantly reduce dryness, as hot water tends to strip moisture from your scalp and hair.

Wash your hair with lukewarm water and rinse it with cold water for best results. Cold water helps strengthen the hair’s cuticles, improving its overall condition.

Occasionally, using a hair treatment can also be beneficial. Unlike conditioners, treatments provide deeper nourishment to your hair.

For optimal absorption, apply the treatment when your hair is damp. Squeeze out excess water or gently towel dry your hair before using, and let it sit for about two minutes to allow the nutrients to be evenly absorbed.

Maintaining a nutrient-rich diet is crucial, with vitamin B essential for maintaining shiny hair.

Vitamin B12 supports red blood cell production, which promotes healthy hair follicles and stimulates hair growth. Vitamin B9 plays a crucial role in cell division, including the formation of hair cells.

Research from a National University of Education team shows that vitamin B and protein deficiency can lead to hair loss.

Vitamin B is abundant in grains, nuts, legumes, fish, eggs, dairy products, and green leafy vegetables like spinach.

Getting enough unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E is also essential, as they promote blood circulation and nourish the scalp.

Vitamin E is found in plant-based oils such as corn, soybean, nuts, and asparagus. Unsaturated fatty acids are abundant in mackerel, salmon, avocado, and black beans.

Black beans, mainly, are great for hair due to their richness in vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids.
