Michelob ULTRA Appoints LPGA Star Jin Young Ko as Latest Ambassador

joynews24 Views

Michelob ULTRA, a top American premium beer, is teeing off for its debut. To celebrate this exciting launch, Michelob ULTRA announced on March 8 that it has appointed world-renowned golfer Jin Young Ko as its official brand ambassador.

Michelob ULTRA chose Ko because of her dedication to a healthy, active “Michelob ULTRA Lifestyle,” which perfectly reflects their identity. Ko is a powerhouse on the LPGA Tour, having dominated the world’s top ranking for a record-breaking 163 weeks.

Ko will be active as the Michelob ULTRA ambassador throughout the LPGA Tour this year, representing the brand at various tournaments.

To connect with Korean consumers and utilize their brand partnership with Ko, Michelob ULTRA will be available at golf courses nationwide starting in the first half of the year, making it the perfect companion for a day on the green.

Michelob ULTRA isn’t your average beer. Launched in the US in 2002, this premium brew is about clean, crisp taste and low calories. It perfectly captures the global wellness movement, letting health-conscious beer lovers indulge without sacrificing their active lifestyles.

Michelob ULTRA plans to captivate the Korean market, aiming to win over health-minded beer drinkers by boasting low calories, zero sugar, low carb, and a light 4.2% ABV.

Michelob ULTRA’s love for golf goes beyond sponsorships. A spectator holding a Michelob ULTRA at the 2022 PGA Tour while Tiger Woods teed off became an internet sensation. The “Michelob Guy” was quickly turned into a full-blown advertising campaign to “live in the moment,” perfectly capturing what the brand wants to embody. With Ko as their ambassador for Korea, Michelob ULTRA is ready to introduce itself as the go-to beer to enjoy with an active, healthy lifestyle.

Ko shared her delight, saying, “I’m thrilled to team up with Michelob ULTRA, a true American beer icon. With all your support, I’m ready to run as their ambassador!”
