On the 30th local time, Lee Jung Hoo (25, San Francisco Giants) recorded his first home run in Major League Baseball (MLB), filling Petco Park in San Diego, California, with cheers.

Lee Jung Hoo stated, “My father (former LG Twins coach Lee Jong Beom) and friends were in the stands.” He was seen waving to the audience after stepping on home plate following his home run.

Despite being an away game for the San Francisco Giants, the audience applauded Jung Hoo Lee.

After the game, Lee Jung Hoo mentioned receiving congratulations from his teammates in the clubhouse. “I didn’t take a shower,” he said with a smile, adding that he received congratulations from his teammates with beer and shaving cream in the clubhouse after the game.

The game also attracted significant attention from Korean and local reporters, with FOX broadcasting capturing the moment of Lee Jung Hoo’s home run followed by a shot of his father, former coach Lee Jong Beom.

Coach Lee Jong Beom clenched his fists in celebration at his son’s home run, and FOX broadcast briefly introduced his player career photo and history.

After his first hit, Lee Jung Hoo said his father congratulated him, expressing gratitude for being able to show his parents’ delight.

Although the game was nearly canceled due to rain, it became a historic day for Lee Jung Hoo.
