Scottie Scheffler of the United States clinched his second individual career Masters victory.

On the 15th (Korean time), Scheffler secured the championship at the 88th Masters Tournament held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA, with a final total of 11 under par, completing 277 strokes.

As the world’s number-one ranked golfer, Scheffler has once again demonstrated his skill.

While he faced challenges early in the final round, allowing competitors like Collin Morikawa and Max Homa to catch up briefly, Scheffler regained the lead with consecutive birdies from the 8th to the 10th hole. Maintaining a three-stroke lead, Scheffler sealed the victory with a successful 3-meter birdie putt on the decisive 16th hole (Par 3).

Scheffler returns to the Masters summit after two years since 2022, continuing his dominant performance with five appearances and two victories. With three wins in the last four tournaments, Scheffler is on an impressive streak.

This victory also elevates Scheffler to the prestigious list of players who have won the Masters more than twice, making him the 18th player in history to achieve this feat. The record for the most Masters victories is held by Jack Nicklaus (6 times), Tiger Woods (5 times), and Arnold Palmer (4 times).
