On Friday, North Korean state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported that North Korea’s team advanced to the finals by defeating the United States in the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

In a recent match, North Korea’s women’s soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over the United States, advancing to the final scheduled for November 4. The decisive moment came in the 69th minute when player No. 19, Ro Un Hyang, scored with a powerful long-range shot. North Korea maintained intense offensive pressure throughout the game, demonstrating remarkable vigor and control.
