On May 7th, at noon in the Andreyevsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin held his fifth inauguration ceremony, marking the start of a new six-year term.

As reported by Rodong Sinmun on the 8th, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter to Putin through the Russian embassy in North Korea on the same day.

In his letter, Kim congratulated Putin on his inauguration and expressed his wish for great success in Putin’s responsible endeavors for the Russian state and its people, according to the newspaper.
