President Joe Biden’s approval ratings have plunged to the lowest point of his presidency as 40% of voters responded that the economy was better during former President Donald Trump’s tenure.

Reuters reported on the 21st (local time), “The poll showed just 36% of Americans approve of Biden’s job performance as president, down from 38% in April. It was a return to the lowest approval rating of his presidency that was last seen in July 2022.

This survey was conducted over four days and was commissioned by Reuters to the polling agency Ipsos.

On a national scale, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are in a tight race, but in competitive states, former President Trump is somewhat ahead.

In the actual survey, 23% of respondents cited economic issues as the most important current issue, and political extremism was also mentioned by 21% of the total.

Above all, 40% of all respondents said that the economic policies during former President Trump’s term were better compared to the approval rating for President Biden’s economic policies at 30%.
