Disturbing Video Reveals Hamas Kidnapping of Israeli Female Soldiers

A video capturing the abduction of Israeli female soldiers by Hamas at the Nahal Oz military base in southern Israel on October 7 last year has been released.

The Israeli Hostage Family Association released an edited video of the abduction process on the 22nd, urging the Israeli government to expedite the return of the hostages.

The three-minute video shows Hamas abducting five female soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces—Liri Alba, Karina Aryev, Agam Berger, Daniela Gilboa, and Naama Levi—and taking them to the Gaza Strip.

In the video, Hamas can be seen binding the hands of the terrified soldiers, whose faces are covered in blood, behind their backs and interrogating them. They also mocked one soldier, saying, “You’re pretty.”

The video also captures the militants loading the female soldiers onto a military truck amid gunfire.

The Hostage and Missing Families Forum criticized in a statement, “This disturbing video shows the reality faced by the soldiers and 123 other hostages and is evidence of the government’s failure to bring the hostages back for 229 days.” They emphasized, “The Israeli government must not waste a single moment and must immediately return to the negotiation table for the release of the hostages.”

Meanwhile, Israel and Hamas held negotiations in Cairo, Egypt, earlier this month with the mediation of the United States, Egypt, and Qatar but failed to reach an agreement.

With negotiations effectively halted, the Israeli military has intensified its offensive against Rafah, considered Hamas’s last stronghold in southern Gaza, and four hostage bodies have been found in the process.
