Biden Blasts Supreme Court Decision: ‘A Blow to the Rule of Law’

Daniel Kim Views

On July 1st, President Joe Biden strongly condemned the US Supreme Court’s decision to recognize the immunity privilege for public acts during former President Donald Trump’s term as “undermining the rule of law.”

Immediately following the Supreme Court’s decision, Biden criticized the ruling as one that has undermined the rule of law. He added that his predecessor had sent thugs to the US Congress to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power four years ago.

He then appealed for judgment against Trump in the upcoming November election, emphasizing that “the decision is what Americans have to make.” Biden did not make any remarks on the controversy over his candidacy, which arose after the first TV debate as growing concerns about his age and cognitive abilities were highlighted.
