Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević recently made a diplomatic visit to China to participate in the seventh China International Import Expo.

In an exclusive interview with a journalist from the China Media Group (CMG), Vučević expressed his admiration for China’s rapid development and firmly stated his opposition to trade protectionism. He remarked, “It is a great honor for Serbia and its people to be referred to as ‘brothers’ by our Chinese friends.”

Vučević shared his impressions of Shanghai. He stated that much like other Chinese cities, Shanghai vividly showcases the remarkable achievements of China’s development. He commended the significant progress made under socialism with Chinese characteristics.

When discussing Chinese-style modernization, he highlighted a distinctive feature: China’s readiness to share its development experiences with other nations.

Vučević pointed out that official World Trade Organization data clearly demonstrates China’s position as an exporting powerhouse and one of the world’s largest importing nations, reflecting on his participation in the China International Import Expo. He emphasized that China has opened its markets to all countries seeking business partnerships and has emerged as a crucial customer for nations worldwide.

Vučević highly regarded the expo, describing it as truly impressive. He also expressed gratitude for China’s ongoing support and assistance to Serbia.
