Apple’s Fall Surprise: AirPods Set for Major User Experience Upgrade

wikitree Views

Apple plans to update AirPods for a better user experience this fall.

On the 10th, Apple announced a new software update for AirPods users this fall.

Apple said this software update will transform users’ interactions with Siri and improve call and gaming audio quality.

AirPods users can respond to Siri by simply nodding or shaking their heads: nodding indicates “yes,” while shaking means “no.” This feature is particularly useful in spaces where they cannot use verbal responses.

Furthermore, the voice separation technology using machine learning allows users’ voices to be more coherent even in windy conditions by effectively removing background noise and delivering the user’s voice more clearly during calls.

Notable improvements for gaming users have also been included. The new software update substantially reduces audio latency during games and introduces Personalized Spatial Audio for AirPods Pro, 3rd Generation AirPods, and AirPods Max, enabling an immersive experience.

This new update allows users to experience these advanced sound technologies in music, movies, TV shows, and games.

The update will launch officially this fall. With it, users can expect improved voice communication in various everyday situations.

Apple unveiled the AirPods Pro MagSafe Charging Case at the Wanderlust special event held at Cupertino headquarters in California on September 12 last year. The new product can be charged by connecting with the iPhone 15 series, which also adopts a USB‐C connector. It supports IP54-rated water and dust resistance.
