Tesla Model Y Juniper Achieves Certified 500 km Range, Setting New Standards for EV Performance

The official driving range of the Tesla Model Y Juniper in South Korea has been confirmed.
According to South Korea’s Ministry of Environment certification, the updated Model Y Juniper achieves a maximum range of 500 kilometers (311 miles), showcasing significant improvements in both design and performance despite being a facelift model.
Notably, despite being produced in China, it delivers excellent quality and performance, setting a new benchmark in the electric vehicle (EV) market.

The Tesla Model Y Juniper is available in two trims: RWD and Long Range AWD. The base RWD model has a 62kWh battery.
It achieves a combined 400 kilometers (249 miles) in warm conditions (city: 414km/257mi, highway: 383km/23hasld conditions, it maintains a stable combined range of 302 kilometers (188 miles) (city: 267km/166mi, highway: 344km/214mi).
The Long Range AWD model features an 81.6kWh battery, delivering an outstanding range of 500 kilometers (311 miles) (city: 522km/324mi, highway: 474km/295mi) in warm conditions.

Even in extreme winter temperatures, it travels 376 kilometers (234 miles) (city: 333km/207 mi, highway: 429km/267 mi), ensuring year-round practicality.
Innovative Design Inspired by Cybertruck

Tesla has applied a futuristic design philosophy to the Model Y Juniper, inspired by the brand’s iconic Cybertruck. Its distinctive exterior sets it apart from conventional EVs.
The interior features a minimalist layout similar to the new Model 3, centered around a large 15.4-inch touchscreen display.
An 8-inch rear passenger display has been added, complemented by a newly designed steering wheel and ambient lighting, enhancing its premium appeal.

Rear-seat comfort has also been improved. The second-row legroom has been increased by 30mm (1.2 inches), and a power reclining function has been added, significantly enhancing passenger convenience.
Ride quality has also seen improvements. Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) performance has been optimized, providing quieter and more comfortable driving and improving the Model Y Juniper’s standing as a premium electric SUV.
Competitive Pricing and Launch Strategy

Tesla Korea has set the price of the Model Y Juniper Long Range AWD Launch Series at ₩73 million ($55,000).
Vehicle deliveries for reservation holders are expected to take 3-4 months. Standard Long Range AWD and base RWD trims will be introduced sequentially.
